A rare three tiered silver Nubian bracelet. This type of bracelet comes in ones, twos, threes etc. They are sold off at times of difficulty so used like currency. This triple tiered bracelet carries the three part hallmark of Egypt on each one of its three bracelet parts. The hallmark tells us that the bracelets are made of  60% pure silver and that it was hallmarked in Keneh between the years 1944 and 1945. It is in good vintage condition.

Inner diameter 5 cm (2") so really for a small wrist. Inner circumference is 12.8 cm (5") with an additional  2.8 cm (1 1/8") gap. Width is 1.5 cm (5/8"). Weight is 82 grams.
